Star Council Award

Congratulations to the Texas Tech College Council #14426 for achieving the Star Council Award this past year…2020-2021

Immediate past Grand Knight, Alejandro Jasso accepts the Star Council plaque from District Deputy #246, Francisco Sotelo. Great job to our young brothers from the college council for achieving this great honor. A big Thanks to our Financial Secretary, Kevin Mantooth and Membership Director, Ronan Waterson for helping the grand knight and the council with this achievement. The council achieved over 300% of membership this past year.

The Star Council Award is a recognition from the Supreme Council earned by individual local councils . The Star Council Award recognizes outstanding achievement in membership, insurance and service program activities. In order to earn the Star Council Award, a council must qualify for the Father McGivney, Founder’s, and Columbian Awards. Additionally, the council must submit its Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity, its Service Program Personnel Report and remain in good standing with Supreme Council assessments. To be eligible for the Star Council Award in the United States and/or Canada, councils must be fully compliant with applicable safe environment requirements.
