Texas Marathon in Kingwood

Steve and Paula Boone (center), past directors of the Texas Marathon for 23 years, were happy to have Matthew (left) and Mark (right) Roseland take over the race for the Knights of Columbus’s children’s charities.

Matthew and Mark Roseland of Knight’s Council 123recently started a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization to run the 24^th annual Texas Marathon in Kingwood, Texas. With the theme of mobility, our race connects a runner's dream of finishing a marathon and the dream of a wheelchair for a disabled child, through the American Wheelchair Mission. On a cold New Year's Day, our event also provides warmth for the less fortunate through the Coats for Kids program.
