Congratulation to IPSD Alfredo Vela

New Board Member Elected

Alfredo Vela has held leadership positions in the Knights of Columbus for more than 39 years, most recently as state deputy of Texas (2020-2022). During his tenure, the Texas State Council achieved Pinnacle Circle of Honor status twice. Before his retirement, Vela worked as assistant superintendent for the La Joya Independent School Board, and he now serves as president of the advisory board to Immaculate Conception School at his home parish in Rio Grande City. A member of Don José de Escandón Council 9982 in Rio Grande City, Vela has two children with his wife, Rosa.
