Vol. 2, 2024 - 2025
In celebration of a closure of an abortion facility in McKinney, TX, a two part event was held last Sunday September 4, 2022. The first part was a thanksgiving prayer service at the vigil site 1:30 pm remembering the 800-1000 lives lost due to the abortion facility. After which, a gathering was convened at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Catholic community center to continue the joyful celebration with a ministry fair and refreshments.
Present during those two events are the St. Gabriel the Archangel Council 12153 brother knights, the Columbiettes, local church parishioners and guests who were very helpful, in setting-up, clean-up, food preparation and other small projects to make the activities more blissful and meaningful.
Ms. Ramona Trevino, 40 Days For Life outreach director shared her heartwarming testimony, on how God touched her and changed her for the better from being a former Planned Parenthood manager to a 40 Days For Life advocate and director during the event. Likewise, Reverend Father Don Zeller, pastor of St. Gabrielchurch gave an inspiring message.
Thereafter, representatives from several pro-life ministries such as the 40 Days For Life Denton, Bella House, Life Chain, Students For Life, Hike For Life, Catholic Pro Life Ministry, Respect For Life, and Texas Alliance For Life were given the opportunity to share and discuss the mission, vision and advocacy about their respective ministries. In turn, the people who were present on the said activity venue went from one ministry to another to sign up and give their support/help in the ministry they chosed from.
In the end, the said events showed that the brother knights together with the other attendees in the spirit of prayer and community service - has made a difference in the promotion and preservation of human life. Thus, ending abortion to a maximum level.0?`
