Council 12153

The Knights of Columbus Council #12153 of St. Gabriel’s Parish in McKinney has designated the Streetside Showers organization as our outreach ministry.The Mission of Streetside Showers is to restore the dignity of those experiencing homelessness.We’ve partnered closely with them for the last three years to provide support in the form of donations, hot meals and Christian fellowship.We also work closely with our Columbiette’s auxiliary at St. Gabriel’s in providing support to Streetside Showers.

Together, the Knights and Columbiette’s provide a homemade meal for the Streetside Showers clients every second Saturday of the Month .In addition, the Knights led a donation drive with the St. Gabriel parish collecting over 2,450 pairs of underwear. The support of Streetside Showers directly helps the less fortunate in our community and connects us with those who are in most need of our support.
