Donation to True Options Pregnancy Center of Sherman

Assembly 1601 coordinated a $5,000 gift to True Options Pregnancy Center of Sherman to provide additional training of their staff on the Ultrasound system that was originally acquired through the coordination of Council 830 of Denison. Presenting the check for $2,500 from Assembly 1601 is FN SK Mike Riley along with Pro-Life Director SK Gerry Brundage to Renee McAtee, Executive Director and Sasha Hancock, Nurse Manager of True Options. In addition to the $2,500 check, Council 1289 donated $500, Council 830 donated $1,750 and Council 16047 donated $250 for a total of $5,000. True Options is the regional center of Texoma that provides support, advice and options to pregnant women other than an abortion. They also provide parenting classes to men and other training helpful to new parents. All their services are totally free.
