Vol. 2, 2024 - 2025
Knights of Columbus Father Ralph Diefenbach Council 4550 gathered at Forest Lawn Cemetery, November 5, in Houston, TX to dedicate a marker over the resting place of God’s innocent unborn. The aborted children were buried there in sacred ground over 25 years ago, but their presence was unmarked. Council 4550 became aware of this through attendance at the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children. This solemn prayer vigil occurs all across the United States and 2022 marked its 10th Anniversary.
Worthy Grand Knight, Keith Labrie, offered the prayer of dedication. ProLife Director, Joe Kollar, told the story of how the children came to be buried there and led a group prayer for the mothers and fathers of each of the over 100 little ones interred there.
For the last 11 years, Council 4550 has hosted a ProLife Rosary and Holy Hour every Thursday evening at their parish church, St. Jerome. Those in attendance at the dedication remarked how fitting it was to be remembering these innocents at the end of the year which put to rest Roe vs Wade.
