KNIGHT BANNER THAT WAS FLOWN IN SPACE

The St. Bernadette Knights of Columbus Council 10959 of Clear Lake, Texas has been the parish home to many of the NASA astronauts. The banner (pictured) was flown on the Space Shuttle Endeavour on December 4, 1998. The mission took the first elements of the International Space Station and was under command of Robert D. Cabana, Parishioner of St Bernadette. This is the only Knights of Columbus banner to have been flown in space and is proudly displayed in the St. Bernadette Parish Life Center.
