It is with great pride that the Fr. Michael J. McGivney Assembly #3004 Brother Knights of Allen, TX joined in the Wreaths Across America activity on a cold Saturday morning last December 17, 2022 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (SHC) in Rowlett, TX.

Starting with a solemn ceremony, presentation of the remembrance wreaths, and ending with the laying of the wreaths on the grave yards of our departed veterans, the said event honored and remembered the so-called deceased soldiers for their service, valor, bravery and heroism. For without them, we could not have the freedom we are enjoying now.

Furthermore present during the celebration were representatives from the Wylie East Air Force JR ROTC, Squire Rose Society of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic church, Dignity Memorial, Lupe and the Grounds Men of Sacred Heart, Deacon Jack Hopkins from Sacred Heart Catholic church, Capital One Financial, Brian Welburn & Veterans Resource & Outreach Center (VROC), The Ramires & Lerma Families, and an attendee from the Philippine Nurses Association of North Texas - Dallas chapter.

In addition, the brother knights together with the VROC volunteers, did grave markings on each of the tomb of the gone but not forgotten servicemen and servicewomen.

Truly, a humbling experience as the people present in the aforementioned affair likewise prayed for the eternal peace of the demised warriors in the kingdom of God.
