Council Growth

My Brother Knights,

Council Growth is one of the many ways to bring the message of our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ to all catholic men. New Council Development, Reactivations, or Roundtables will get men more involved in their prayer life, church life, family life, & community life.We as the leaders must continuously stay on task & complete those new councils, reactivate councils, & reach our Diocesan Roundtable goals. Let “Christ Be The Light” that will shine on your path to the Glory of God! to complete your goal.

Councils still need to go online for your Supreme Per Capita Statement. Contact us if you need help finding your statement.Please mail payment to: Knights of Columbus Council Accounts, PO Box 382172, Pittsburg, PA 15251-8172.Do not mail the payment to Supreme. Please also verify all your State Per Capita has been paid.That gets mailed to the State Office in Austin.

As of May 20, 2023 we have 185 Round tables. Our Goal is 200. Diocesan Deputies please keep your promise to meet your Roundtable goal.Round tables are the mustard seed that will hopefully spout into a vibrant Council.Round tables also assure that the Knight’s presence is in every parish.

We have had a good 2^nd half of the year with new councils.See the list below & thanks to all involved.

Congratulations to – Texas A&M – Corpus Christi College Council #18173. Thank you new Brother Knights, & the Diocesan Deputy Rudy Ortiz Jr. for making this happen.This will keep our young men active in their faith and provide for future leaders in our Order!

Congratulations to – Mother Theresa of Calcutta Council #18179 in Fort Worth Diocese.Thank you new Brother Knights, District Deputy #24 Ruben Cisneros, & Diocesan Deputy Craig Modrzynski for making this happen.This relative new parish & now, new Council will continue to build up the parish & keep these knights engaged in their faith.

Congratulations to – San Jose Sanchez del Rio Council #18198 in the Tyler Diocese.Thank you new Brother Knights, District Deputy #134 Chris Oldmixon, & Diocesan Deputy Larry Pfeifer for making this happen.This new Council will continue to build up the parish & keep these knights engaged in their faith.

Congratulations to – Texas A&M – Kingsville College Council #18202. Thank you new Brother Knights, District Deputy #172 Victoriano Garcia & the Diocesan Deputy Rudy Ortiz Jr. for making this happen.This will keep our young men active in their faith and provide for future leaders in our Order!

Council Growth touches many aspects of being a knight.We bring new catholic men into our order, which gives them access to all our activities & faith programs, we help renew councils in being a alive & active, round tables verify we are present in every parish, and we help in keeping councils active in verifying the council’s per capita is current.
