"Honorary Lady Knight"

Father McGivney founded the Knights of Columbus with the intention of helping the widows and orphans of his church.

On November 19, 2022, “Southwest Council 3910 of St. Thomas More Catholic Church Houston Texas” did just that. Our new program HONORARY LADY KNIGHTS was formed to help the widows of our fallen Knights.

The Honorary Lady Knights program helps the widows by recognizing them with a certificate naming them as “HONORARY LADY KNIGHT, complete with an ID card. This card when presented at our fundraisers such as Fish Frys, provides them with a free meal. This year we had four widows inducted into our society. Fourteen more who were not present will be notified and bestowed the honor.
