Brother Knights,
Great work with State Charities and the American Wheelchair Foundation early! We have six weeks to go to exceed goal! Through May 21, 2023, contributions to State Council Charities have totaled $901,389.80!Seven Dioceses have exceeded 100% so far:
ALL Diocese are in play to exceed 100% however Austin, Beaumont and Lubbock are VERY close!Our Bishop’s need us so do not let them down!
Remember that 70% of these contributions go back to each Bishop for the Charity of his choice. ALL dollars over 100% - 100% of these go back to the Bishop! Let us focus on meeting our Charity goals by June 30, 2023!We are Knights!
AMERICAN WHEELCHAIR MISSION
The First Lady has adopted the American Wheelchair Mission as her charity of choice and a new order form as been designed to show these contributions to the program (available for download on the Texas State Website, tkofc.org).Through April 30, 2023 the wheelchair program raised $789,583.92 and these funds will purchase more than 5,263 wheelchairs. We are ALREADY ahead of last years 12 month total with 2 FULL months of reporting to go! OUTSTANDING! Below is a breakdown, by Diocese, of the contributions received so far this year:
Remember that it only takes $150 for a wheelchair! Let’s do our part!
