Assist the Officer Foundation

On August 9^th, a check for $1500 was presented to the Assist the Officer Foundation (ATO) at their headquarters located in Dallas, Texas by Prince of Peace Knights of Columbus Assembly 3642. The Assist the Officer Foundation provides financial assistance to officers who are facing the loss of income due to a serious injury, life threatening illness or other catastrophic event. Immediate assistance is also available to an officer’s family in the event of an active officer’s death. Since its creation in 1999, the ATO has provided assistance to thousands of officers and their families who were faced with any number of life altering situations. In 2004, the ATO Foundation launched a first of its kind, confidential counseling service, exclusively for Dallas Police officers. In 2022, the ATO was able to extend its reach and offer financial assistance to 14 different agencies and first responders. Assembly 3642 is extremely proud to be associated with this wonderful charity. We thank them for their service and may God continue to watch over them and keep them safe.

These funds represent proceeds from the K of C PoP Bingo Events. Prince of Peace Assembly 3642 is the Patriotic Order of the Knights of Columbus.
