North Texas Hike for Life Committee supported by Texas Hike for Life Director Tom Clark.

Council PGK Jim Oborny and North Texas Hike for Life Chairman for Council 830 presents a check to Renee McAfee, Executive Director of True Options Pregnancy Center while GK Frank Ventura looks on. The First Annual North Texas Hike for Life was held April 1 and had an initial goal of $5,000 and came in at 200% . According to Oborny, the $10,000 raised was made possible through the great effort of the Hike for Life Committee which included the participation of Council 1289.

The Center Director acknowledged the ongoing support by Council 830 dating back to the acquisition of the Ultrasound system and the two gifts totaling $15,000 which made the training of her staff on the system possible.
