VSM of Our Lady of Guadalupe Province

Help me in welcoming Pat Conway as our newly appointed Vice Supreme Master of Our Lady of Guadalupe Province SK Patrick J. Conway, Sr

Born 1954 to Ruby & William (Bill) D. Conway, Sr in Dallas, Texas. Pat is married to a beautiful young lady he met on a blind date, Pat and Debbie were married March 29^th, 1974. Pat and Debbie were blessed with 3 children, Patrick Jr in 1975, Nicholas Wm. (Bill) in 1978 &Amy R. 1980. Both sons have served in the Army for 4yrs & 10yrs respectfully. They have 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

Pat’s career has been in the sales and construction industries. From small family businesses to large national to international corporations. While working in the industry his family relocated from Dallas, to Abilene, to Houston, to Memphis and back to Dallas.

While in Memphis Pat became a Knights. It was not until he moved to Wylie, Tx and joined council 12300 he got invited to join the 4^th degree.He served as DGK, GK, Trustee, Membership Director and created the council degree team. While serving as GK receiving the Double Star Award & Texas Lone Star with Distinction Award.

Being so impressed by the members that were 4^th degree, he knew it was time to step up. Joining Mother Teresa assembly #2506 in 2005 he served in every office except Sentinel. Joining the Third Tx District staff in 2009 serving in positions from exemplar to truck loader and back again. In 2009-2012 served as Dallas Diocese Membership Director. He continued his service as District Deputy for then SD Terry Simonton 2014-2016. He served 2 years as the District Secretary for DM Bill Elliott. Pat took the next step in 2016 when he was appointed District Master of the Texas Third District. Pat served as District Master from 2016- 2020. In July 1,2022, he was appointed to an honorary position in the state of Texas, Master of the Sword. Basically, a liaison between the State Deputy and VSM to be in attendance at state meetings and conventions assisting to make sure both leader’s needs and concern of the 4^th degree are addressed and accomplished.

So you can see, Pat has many accomplishments within the Knights. In May 2023, at the Texas State Council Convention, Pat was honored with the Patriotism Award from Texas Knights of Columbus.

Pat will start he position as Vice Supreme Master after being installed September 9^th in New Haven, Connecticut.
