Major Success for KC Scholarship Program

Council 830, St. Patrick-Denison, recorded another major success this year bringing in over $20,000 in the annual Bonnie Ciaccio Memorial Golf Tournament held at Tanglewood Country Club on September 16. The tournament has raised over $100,000 in the last 5 years. This year the tournament was held in memory of SK Ron Freeman, a long time KC member and supporter of the tournament. Each year Catholic youth are invited to apply for a scholarship and 10-12 are selected as recipients selected by a panel of council members. Twenty-nine teams of local golfers vied for the top prize with everyone enjoying a luncheon prepared by council members.
