COR and the Eucharistic Revival

It has been 83 years since the last National Eucharistic Congress and on July 17-21, 2024 pilgrims will gather in Indianapolis, Indiana in the midst a 3 year Eucharistic Revival here in the Church in America. In the first year, the focus was on a Eucharistic Revival on the Diocesan level with this current second year focused on a Eucharist Revival at the Parish Level. The third year will be the year of going out on mission having been enkindled by the Holy Spirit to share the gift of the Eucharist.

For your council, we want to share with you a fantastic way to bring together the men of your Parish to draw deeper into the mystery of the Holy Eucharist; to enkindle a fire within them to share with their family (domestic church) and the community they live and work in on a daily basis. The USCCB and Augustine Institute have created a fantastic 7 part video with study guide series entitled, Jesus and the Eucharist. The Jesus and the Eucharistseries videos and handouts to lead men through fraternal discussion are available in both english and spanish. This series will prepare the men of your council and parish to know, love and serve Jesus and hunger for the Bread of Heaven. Men transformed by the Eucharist are strengthened to lead their domestic church to seeking holiness and the fruit of that holiness transforms the world the encounter daily.

Consider dedicating a KofC Cor each month over the next 7 months to focus on one of these National Eucharistic Revival Jesus and the Eucharist sessions to prepare the men of your council and parish to be sent on mission to share the Source and Summit of our Catholic, the Eucharist
