Mary Simons Maresca

NOVEMBER 3, 1935 – APRIL 30, 2024

Mary S. Maresca went to the arms of our Lord April 30, 2024. There will be a joyous reunion in Heaven with the love of her life Joseph Maresca and her beloved son Stephen. Mary was born and raised on Long Island, New York and moved to El Paso in 1956 where Joe was stationed in the Air Force. They fell in love with El Paso and decided to make this their home. Mary worked full time well into her eighties. Always one to stay busy, Mary volunteered with the St. Patrick’s and Diocesan Choir, Assistance League of El Paso, Knights of Columbus Sunshine Lady, Ronald McDonald House, St. Patrick’s Alter Society, Alhambra and the Special Olympics. Bam, as she was known to her family and friends, was quick to strike up a conversation with anyone she met. Mary celebrated life and spread joy wherever she went. Always proud of her family, Mary is survived by children Charles Maresca (Anna), Susan Preslar (Robert) and grandchildren - Sydney, Sarah, Kelsey, Taylor, Anthony, Connor and great grandchildren Braydon, Christian, Austin, Oliver and Simon. The memory of her love will be with us always.
