Life is Beautiful Gala

Knights of Columbus Honor Guard for the Life is Beautiful Gala for the St. John Paul II Life Center, October 20, 2024. The speakers at the Gala presented after the blessing by Fr. Dean Wilhelm, Chaplain of the Center. The more than 600 attendees heard from the award winners for the Dignity in Life Award, Kevin and Michelle Roberts, President of The Heritage Foundation and the Defender of Life Awards to Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Montse Alvarado, President and COO of EWTN. Their comments about the importance of following Catholic teaching on protecting the dignity of human life were combined with words from each thanking the St. John Paul II Life Center for all the babies’ lives being saved and the impact that A Glimpse Inside™ is having to help young students and their families understand when life begins in the womb. The Austin Chapter met for its October meeting at the St. John Paul II Life Center and had the opportunity after the meeting to have tours of both the St. John Paul II Life Center and the Vitae Clinic in their new headquarter building.

Grand Knights from Austin Chapter Council with Victor Medina, Chapter President, as they were welcomed to the St. John Paul II Life Center and Vitae Clinic, joined by State Deputy Ron Alonzo and Tim Von Dohlen, PSD and Co-Founder of the Center for a Chapter Meeting, followed by tour of the Center.
