Padua Place

Vol. 2, 2024 - 2025

Council 6358 (Good Shepherd, Schertz) paid a visit on 19 October 2024 to Padua Place, an assisted living facility for the Archdiocese of San Antonio’s retired priests. The Council brought a hot homemade lunch complete with dessert and 4 types of wine for the residents’ dining pleasure. The Brothers enjoyed visiting and entertaining the residents for hours before and after lunch. This visit was facilitated by Mother Teresa Assembly 2523’s visit to Padua Place a month earlier on 7 September 2024, which was attended by many of the same Brothers who visited with Council 6358. The residents of Padua Place greatly appreciated the lunch and visit both times, and Council 6358 plans to organize another activity with the residents of Padua Place again soon.
